COVID-19 Customer Update

Our customers’ health and safety are our top priorities. Here at AutoMax Hyundai Norman, we are taking the necessary preventative measures to ensure that you and your family stay safe if you need to purchase a vehicle or bring in your current vehicle for service during this time. Currently, our dealership is open for business. We are taking the necessary precautions, and are confident that our dealership is a safe environment because of this. Hyundai Assurance Job Loss Protection Program

Hyundai has announced to make up to six months of payments for new owners who lose their jobs and have purchased or leased their vehicles through Hyundai Capital starting March 14th, 2020 to April 30th, 2020. This program has helped many people back in 2009 and Hyundai is making the program available to help our community once more.

In conjunction with the Hyundai Assurance Job Loss Protection, Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Motor Finance are pleased to announce 90-day deferred payments effective March 14th through April 30th, 2020 on the vehicles listed below:

90-Day Deferred Payment on HMF Low APR Programs:

  • 2020 Accent: 0% for 48 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2019 Elantra: 0% for 72 months PLUS $500 PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2020 Elantra: 0% for 72 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2019 Elantra GT: 0% for 60 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2020 Elantra GT: 0% for 60 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2019 Sonata: 0% for 60 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2019 Sonata HEV: 0% for 60 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2019 Sonata PHEV: 0% for 60 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2020 Venue: 0% for 36 months PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2020 Kona: 0% for 60 months PLUS $500 PLUS No Payments for 90 Days
  • 2019 Tucson: 0% for 72 months PLUS $1,000 PLUS No Payments for 90 Days

Preventative Measures We Are Taking

We have taken the necessary precautions to create a safe, healthy environment for our customers, and will continue to apply the preventative measures outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Please read on to learn about the steps we are taking to ensure your safety:

  • Cleaning crews are working hard to disinfect our dealerships multiple times a day
  • We will increase cleaning on touch-points including door knobs, handles, and countertops
  • Hand sanitizer stations can be found throughout our dealership
  • We will post guidelines for proper hand-washing techniques in each bathroom
  • After each service, service technicians will fully wipe down your vehicle
  • We will avoid unnecessary contact like handshakes by using other forms of greeting and following social distancing guidelines
  • We will enforce procedures that encourage staff to stay home if they are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who is feeling unwell
  • Staff will be kept up-to-date with any COVID-19 updates to ensure we’re doing our part to minimize its impact
